Located in a spectacular position on a Tuscan hill, looking across to the Apennines of Tuscany, Umbria and The Marches Casa Rughino and Montemiliano offer splendid views of Monterchi, the town which is home to Piero della Francesca’s fresco of the Pregnant Madonna (Madonna del Parto) and of the medieval hilltop towns of Anghiari and Citerna and, beyond these, of La Verna and Monte Nerone.

Surrounded by green fields and hills, the hamlet is the perfect place to stay for those who love the countryside. Guests who want to enjoy nature that remains unspoilt, and a relaxing environment, will find here the peace they need for shaking off the accumulated stress of the city and the office, cosseted by the friendly atmosphere typical of the country.
